Dr. Dick’s Chord Weaving Level 2

The first chord weaving exercise showed how to weave chords into the circle of fifths to facilitate chord switching.

This exercise begins the expansion of the circle of fifths to include more chord switching into a single exercise. The process is largely the same, but we use an extended circle of fifths that includes minor chords:

CGDAEBF#C#AbEbBbFAmEmBmF#mC#mAbmEbmBbmFmCm GmDm

Begin with C and weave C into this extended pattern:

Part 2. Adding other chords.

Instead of separate tables for each chord change, put the remaining chords into a list:

C7       G7       D7       A7       E7       B7       F#7     C#7     Ab7     Eb7     Bb7     F7

Am7    Em7    Bm7    F#m7  C#m7  Abm7  Ebm7  Bbm7  Fm7    Cm7    Gm7    Dm7

CM7    GM7    DM7    AM7    EM7    BM7    F#M7  C#M7  AbM7  EbM7  BbM7  FM7

Co        Go        Do       Ao        Eo        Bo        F#o      C#o     Abo     Ebo     Bbo     Fo

C+       G+       D+       A+       E+       B+       F#+     C#+     Ab+     Eb+     Bb+     F+
